A New Chapter for Canada Life Place
Canada Life Place today celebrated the completion of its major expansion, officially unveiling the MNP District at Canada Life Place and Casey’s Club Lounge, two newly branded spaces that mark the next chapter for the downtown London venue.
The completed expansion enhances Canada Life Place's ability to support large-scale touring productions, host national and international competitions, and provide premium guest experiences.
As part of the completed project, the venue's expanded back-of-house area will officially be known as the MNP District at Canada Life Place. The MNP District includes enhanced artist and touring facilities, production support spaces, and the MNP District Lounge, a new multi-purpose event space designed to host corporate functions, private events, community gatherings, and premium hospitality experiences.
Also unveiled as part of the expansion is Casey’s Club Lounge, a newly expanded and enhanced premium hospitality space designed to elevate the event-day experience for Premium Seating holders and guests.
Together, these investments improve operational efficiency for artists and touring crews while expanding opportunities for guests, partners, and the community. Canada Life Place is proud to welcome MNP as the naming rights partner for the MNP District and Casey’s Creative Kitchens as the naming partner for Casey’s Club Lounge. Both partnerships reflect a shared commitment to enhancing the live entertainment experience and creating spaces that bring people together.
“These improvements represent far more than additional square footage,” said Kelly Austin, General Manager with Oak View Group at Canada Life Place. “The MNP District is a transformational investment in our venue, providing enhanced spaces for artists and touring crews while creating new opportunities to host corporate events, community gatherings, and premium hospitality experiences. Combined with the newly expanded Casey’s Club Lounge, these additions strengthen our ability to attract world-class entertainment while delivering an exceptional experience for everyone who walks through our doors.”
"MNP District is a natural extension of what matters most to our firm: supporting the communities where we live and work. This new space is an opportunity to bring people together, strengthen connections, and create shared experiences," said Melissa Aveiro, Southwestern Ontario Regional Managing Partner, MNP. "By putting our name on this space, we're not only partnering with a vital building at the heart of London's community and culture. We're investing in the people, organizations, and businesses that make Southwestern Ontario a place our team is proud to call home."
“At Casey’s Creative Kitchens, we believe the best spaces bring people together, which made our partnership with the London Knights and Oak View Group at Canada Life Place a natural fit,” said Kristen McCaw, Director of Marketing and Business Development at Casey’s Creative Kitchens. “We’re proud to have transformed The Casey’s Club Lounge into a warm, sophisticated space featuring rich walnut cabinetry, beautiful stone countertops and the same attention to detail we bring to every Casey’s project. As a proud supporter of our community, we’re excited to help create a space where fans can gather, connect and make memories throughout the London Knights hockey season and the many events at Canada Life Place.”
For Oak View Group, the completion of the expansion represents an important milestone in the continued evolution of Canada Life Place.
"Completing this expansion positions Canada Life Place to continue attracting world-class tours and major productions," said Tom Pistore, President, Oak View Group Canada. "Investments like this ensure venues remain competitive while creating new opportunities for artists, partners, and the communities they serve."
The City of London's $26.7 million investment, approved in 2024, supports the long-term sustainability and competitiveness of Canada Life Place as a premier entertainment destination. By expanding the venue's capabilities, the project positions London to attract larger productions, increase tourism, and generate new economic activity.
"Canada Life Place is a tremendous asset to our downtown and to the entire city. It brings people together, attracts world-class entertainment and creates the kind of energy that helps our downtown thrive." said Josh Morgan, Mayor of London. "This expansion is about more than creating a world-class venue. It’s about investing in London’s future, supporting local businesses, attracting visitors and giving our residents even more reasons to be proud of their city. When we invest in destinations like Canada Life Place, we strengthen our downtown, create new economic opportunities and make London an even more exciting place to live, work and visit. This is exactly the kind of investment that helps move our city forward.”
With construction now complete and the MNP District at Canada Life Place and Casey’s Club Lounge officially unveiled, the venue enters its next chapter with enhanced spaces designed to support world-class live entertainment, elevate the guest and artist experience, and create new opportunities for partners and the London community.
